Major: Mathematics and Computer Science Hometown: West Windsor, NJ Member Since: September 2021 Bio: Before Cornell, Amber had never heard of the term taiko. The closest thing to taiko that she was aware of was this drum thing from a Chinese TV Series called Keep Running. The first time she heard about this Yamatai club was during orientation week. A person from the same orientation group mentioned wanting to join Yamatai. Amber was mildly interested, but didn't think too much of it. Fast forward to clubfest week, Amber dropped by the Yamatai booth and thought why not shoot her shot and see what happens. After the first round, she found out how fun and exhilerating taiko was, and decided maybe this was something she wanted to do, if all went well. And thus, she ended up here and she looks forward to fun times with the Yamatai family!
