Max MaEboard Position: Secretary
Class of: 2025 Major: Economics Hometown: Bethesda, Maryland Member Since: September 2021 Bio: Before Yamatai, the closest Max came to taiko was from watching half of a Kodo performance in person. As a classicaly trained percussionist, Max was amazed by the raw power and intensity of it. After Max got accepted to Cornell, he immediately went to the club roster and looked for any percussion club, and was presented with the choice of Yamatai or the Cornell marching band. So that choice was easy. Fast forward to tryouts, Max found the individuals running the club were not only talented but also incredibly nice and welcoming. Although the tryouts were intimidating, Max found that the art of taiko was incredibly fun and is now grateful to be part of the Yamatai family!
