Carina ChengClass of: 2020
Major: Computer Science Hometown: Hong Kong Member Since: September 2017 Bio: Carina started her musical journey playing the piano in first grade. However, the fact that she had to multitask and read the score for both her right and left hand proved to be difficult. That's when she had a breakthrough and started to play the cello in third grade, where she only had to read the base clef. For all her years in middle school and high school, she spent most of her time in the music department, practicing and performing with the orchestra and other chamber groups. When she finally made her way to Cornell, she was introduced to taiko - the ultimate instrument with no score reading necessary. It took her 2 tries to get in, but it was all worth it when she became part of the Yamatai family. Likes: Overwatch, carbs, knitting, and penguins Carbs Ranking: Ramen, pasta, fried rice, and udon |
