Felix ShenEboard Position: Co-Musical Director
Class of: 2023 Major: Astronomy and Mathematics Hometown: Shanghai, China Member Since: September 2019 Bio: Felix grew up in Shanghai, and learned guzheng since childhood. She absolutely loved playing guzheng and performed around the country. However, after she passed level ten, she found no time (reason) to play it anymore and just put it aside. Later she switched to guitar for a while, but obviously she lacked passion and quit soon. Before entering Cornell, Felix overheard someone asking about Yamatai’s tryouts, and randomly entered “YAMATAI” into Youtube. She found it SOOOO DANG COOL, but overwhelmed by everything new as a freshman, she forgot about it immediately. It was until she was pissed off by the heavy academic workload before the first tryout night that she decided to smash the drum and shout for a while during the tryout. Surprisingly, Felix enjoyed the strength and vibe SOOOO much and became a member of Yamatai eventually!
