Bio: Like every other Asian kid, Joyce played the piano and the violin growing up. Although she's never had experience with percussion before, Yamatai caught her eye as she was looking for clubs to join before her freshman year. ("Taiko drumming? That's just a rhythm game in real life, right?") The sheer energy and excitement that taiko drumming generated drew her in. Performing in front of current Yamatai members during the final round of tryouts, she felt exhilerated as she practiced and coordinated with her team, ending Gaifuu with an energetic last hit. Joyce was very happy when she found out that she made the team, she can't wait to experience that kind of taiko high again.
